Tahini Mustard Dressing
(1 pt per Tbsp)


This recipe comes from Chef John B. Nowakowski, who wrote a vegan vegetarian cook book.

This dressing is great on salads, falafels, steamed vegtables and more. Try it, you'll love it! If you can't find some of these ingredients in your local supermarket, try a health food store.

1/2 c. water
1/2 c. Fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 large lemons)
1/2 c. Sesame Tahini
1/3 c. Brown Rice Syrup
3 Tbsp.. Stone ground mustard
2 Tbsp. Bragg Liquid Aminos
2 tsp. Fresh minced garlic
2 Tbsp. Fresh chopped Italian parsley
dash Cayenne Pepper

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients
  2. Add additional water to make 1 pint and mix well. Chill

This dresssing will last awhile in the refrigerator. You may have to add a little cool water to thin it our upon reusing.
